Family of mine

The following five images were taken from my on-going project exploring family dynamics and represent the selection made for the museum show, "The Photographers of Berkshire Living". To view the full series, click here.

My photographs of family events are spontaneous, mutely observant and never staged. Love, blood and obligation draw us together where worldviews mix, match, confuse and clash. Embedded in this intimate interpersonal world, I document a particular and familiar reality, but the process also embraces and explores the suggestive, universal nature of photography.

These images were included the Berkshire Museum group show, The Photographers of Berkshire Living (May 12th - June 17th, 2007). All are printed as 30" x 40" digital c-prints on archival paper, mounted to black 1/8" Sintra on a floating brace, and UV laminated. Each image is printed in an edition of 3 and unmounted 30" x 40" prints are $4500.
