My passion for small-scale farms and local food naturally led to supporting the farmers, chefs, and authors also involved in the broader movement. Over the years I have photographed for many books and magazine articles ranging from food justice and sovereignty in the inner city to revitalization of traditional ways and cultural heritage on Native reservations to a guidebook for grassroots activism in food systems around the United States.
